Planning for walking, cycling and public transport infrastructure is a crucial role of planning. The following studies have been developed to help support our transport and highways planning policies and guidance.

Disabled parking

The Disabled Parking Usage Report (2018) [SP504] ^{(PDF, 1.4mb)}

informs Policy P55 of the Southwark Plan (2022).
examines the extent to which disabled people in Southwark might be able to live without a car.
identifies key trends including reduced car dependence and improved public transport accessibility.

Canada Water Strategic Transport Study

The Canada Water Strategic Transport Study [EIP58] ^{(PDF, 26.8mb)} assesses the impact of development and major transport proposals on the Canada Water regeneration area on the Rotherhithe Peninsula in 2031 and 2041.
