Peckham Square Public Art Commission - Seeking a Consultant
We're excited to invite experienced individuals or organisations to apply for the role of consultant for a new public art commission in Peckham Square. This is a unique opportunity to shape a significant artwork that celebrates youth and honours Peckham's past while looking to the future.
As the consultant, you will:
- develop a feasibility study for the artwork
- manage the artist commissioning process
- support fundraising efforts and technical development
- work closely with Southwark Council, Damilola Taylor Trust, and Hope Collective
The project will run from January to December 2025, with the final design unveiling planned for the Day of Hope on 7 December 2025.
Key Requirements
You will need:
- experience in public art commissioning
- strong community engagement skills, especially with young people
- ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
- commitment to inclusion, tackling inequality, and anti-racism

We actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, especially those currently less represented in the creative sector.
We are open to a discussion regarding collaborative approaches and invite applications from consortia.
