Welcome to Southwark information for guests from Ukraine
Getting family support
Family Early Help can help your family get support and help you communicate with other services you'll be using. A member of the Family Early Help team is helping Ukrainian families as they arrive in Southwark. They're linked in with the resettlement workers that are doing welfare visits and ongoing support under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme.
Getting support for children with special educational needs and disabilities
We provide support in Southwark for children, young people and adults (aged 0 to 25) who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This includes:
- confidential advice and support about SEND from the Southwark Information, Advice and Support team
- special Educational Needs Inclusion Practitioners who support children and young people with SEND and their families who are new to Southwark as they start their education here
An Education, Health and Care Plan (EHC Plan) is for children and young people aged 0 to 25 who need more help than is normally available through special educational needs support at their schools or colleges. Find out how to request this plan for extra support for young people with special educational needs.
You can find full details of children’s services within Southwark in the Family Information Directory.
