Traffic Management Orders (TMO)
How to object to or make a representation in respect of a proposed TMO
How you can object to or make a representation regarding a proposed TMO is outlined in the public notice and a deadline by which any such objections or representations should be received is given. The council is legally obliged to consider every objection sent and will reply in due course to acknowledge that objection and to inform you of the appropriate decision maker's determination of that objection.
You can respond and provide feedback on TMO consultations for:
- static restrictions via our online consultation portal
- moving restrictions via our online form
After a TMO is made, if the public feels the council has not followed the correct procedures in making the order, they can appeal to the High Court within six weeks of the TMO being made.
