This course is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience who are perhaps out of the habit of writing regularly.

What you'll learn
This course will cover:
- the basics of fiction writing
- confidence building
- a variety of writing techniques
- how to generate story ideas
How the course is taught
Learners can experiment and develop confidence in writing through practical exercises, class discussion and tutor led talks. Learners can share their work in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.
A small amount of homework will be set between sessions.

Pen and notebook (if you wish)
After the course
You will feel more confident in applying your skills to various writing tasks and in writing creatively about other subjects.
