East Dulwich Estate Regeneration
East Dulwich Estate Environmental Works Phase 3
The main East Dulwich Estate Environmental Works Phase 3 have been completed. They are the final phase of regeneration works on the estate which included drying room conversions, health and safety works and environmental works, including external landscaping works across the estate as part of an overall regeneration programme.
The council wants all its estates to be Great Estates, and we have invested in the estate to improve the place where residents live. We worked closely with local resident representatives on the East Dulwich Estate Regeneration Project Team throughout the programme.
The Phase 3 works will include:
- courtyard works including new tarmac and pedestrian paving and new car parking areas
- refurbishment of five existing play areas, an upgraded kickabout area and the creation of two new communal gardens
- tree and hedge planting, new planting beds and wildflower meadows
- minor drainage works
Blakedown Landscapes carried out the works and will be on the estate in the future carrying out maintenance and planting works. Further detail is in the newsletter (PDF, 726kb)
