Nunhead
We're currently funding and coordinating a number of projects to encourage activity and improve Nunhead's village centre. The regeneration of Nunhead is supported by:
- the Mayor of London's Outer London Fund, which is helping increase the vibrancy and growth of high street places across London
- the Mayor's Pocket Parks Fund, which is supporting the delivery of 100 new or improved pocket parks across London by March 2015
This funding will help deliver a programme of physical improvements, business support, community engagement and build upon the rich mix of festivals already taking place.
The programme ran between 2012 and 2014 and saw an investment of over £1.2m in Nunhead. Regeneration in Nunhead is guided by the emerging Peckham and Nunhead Area Action Plan.
Specific projects include:
- shop front improvements
- improvements to Nunhead Green
- festivals programme
- lighting upgrades
- pop up shop
- community website
You can find more information about the regeneration of Nunhead on the Love Nunhead website.
