Strategic housing market assessments

In 2014, Cobweb Consulting were also commissioned by local authorities in the South East London sub-region to undertake a strategic housing market assessment (SHMA) for the sub region. The local authorities involved in the project were Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark. A SHMA is a framework that local authorities and regional bodies can follow to develop a good understanding of how housing markets operate. You can download the documents below:

The Southwark section of the 2014 SHMA was updated in 2019 to inform housing policies in the Southwark Plan (2022). You can download the document below:
