The council has published many other studies, plans and strategies that help inform the development of our planning policies. They contain aims and objectives that our planning policies and guidance seek to deliver, including the council’s Fairer Future. 

Southwark Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy

• examines the state of health and health inequalities in the borough.
• sets out the principles, priorities and objectives for improving health and wellbeing.
• outlines a systematic approach to delivery and monitoring.

Cultural Strategy

• sets out our vision to deliver cultural and creative prosperity.
• provides a framework for cross-council and partner work in events, arts, heritage, libraries, regeneration, licensing, public health, education and planning.  

Local Estate Strategy

• identifies deficiencies with existing estate and future demands.
• suggests an approach to meet the predicted demands in relation to primary care provision.
