Neighbourhood area and business area designation

The Neighbourhood Area and Business Area for Bankside ^{(PDF, 3.7mb)} was agreed and designated in May 2013. The final area boundary was amended from that originally applied for. The reasons for designating an amended area are set out in this report ^{(PDF, 125kb)}.

Neighbourhood forum designation

The Bankside Neighbourhood Forum was designated as a joint business and resident-led forum in June 2013, with the backing of the local Business Improvement District, Better Bankside and the local resident’s forum, Bankside Resident’s Forum. The reasons for designating the Bankside Neighbourhood Forum is set out in this report ^{(PDF, 101kb)}. The designation of the Bankside forum expired in June 2018. As such the forum will cease to be the qualifying body for the preparation of the neighbourhood plan as the council has not received an application to renew the status of the Bankside Neighbourhood Forum.
