Help us improve Southwark Park

Southwark Park Vision and Development Framework

Southwark Park
The lake, Southwark Park

We are keen to talk to residents and park visitors to gather ideas and identify key priorities for Southwark Park. We have undertaken a community consultation to help shape and develop proposals and secure future investment in the park.

The first public consultation was held in early 2021. The results can be found in the Southwark Park Vision and Development Framework consultation report (PDF, 3.8mb)

The results of this initial consultation will be used to develop the plans. The project is currently on hold due to a staff shortage in the team.

It has endured in the local community for over 150 years as a space to relax, experience nature, and take part in sport and physical activities. The park covers an area of 63 acres in the northern heartlands of the London Borough of Southwark, near the banks of the River Thames.
