No vehicle may be parked on the estate if it is oversized and exceeds any one of the following dimensions:

  1. height 6’6” (2 metres)
  2. width 6’0” (1.83 metres)
  3. length 16’0” (4.8 metres)
  4. weight 7.5 tonnes

The council reserves the right to grant permission for the parking of vehicles which exceed the dimensions specified in Clause 10(2) hereof and which are used solely for social and domestic purposes.

No vehicle may be parked on the estate unless:

  • it has a vehicle excise license (Tax) at all times
  • It has a valid MOT certificate and is road-worthy

No crash-damaged vehicle or any other kind of damaged vehicle may be left or stored on any part of the estate or on council land.

Estate parking permit schemes have been introduced on some estates after consultation with tenants. If any estate parking permit scheme is in force, no vehicle may be parked on the estate during the hours the scheme is in operation without a valid virtual permit or clearly displaying a valid physical permit. The hours of operation may vary between different estates.
