Southwark Remembers 2021

The official borough service for Remembrance Sunday will take place at The Southwark Memorial, Walworth Square, SE17, on Sunday 14 November 2021 at 10.50am, ahead of the nationwide two minute silence at 11am.
It will be led by Canon Jonathan Sedgwick, Acting Archdeacon of Southwark, accompanied by members of the clergy from of the Parish, and joined by other religious representatives of the district.
Guests are asked to assemble in the square by 10.45am with the 2 minutes silence being observed at 11:00am.
There will also be the traditional Remembrance Services taking place throughout the borough including at St Saviour’s War Memorial, Borough High Street, SE1, arranged in conjunction with Southwark Cathedral.
Armistice Service 11 November
There will be a community service on Thursday 11 November at West Lane SE16 starting at 10:45am.
