Beat The Street
Beat The Street turned central Southwark into a giant game. Participants used a card to tap boxes during a journey, winning points for the boxes tapped. The game engaged with 6,586 people, including 21 community teams and 21 school teams. In total Southwark participants travelled 37,796 miles!
Beat the Street - Activity Passports
To keep participants active Beat the Street is encouraging children aged 8 and above to attend local sports and physical activities with an ‘Activity Passport’. The passport contains information about what is going on in the area, and when getting it stamped by the coach or instructor on 10 occasions a small prize can be collected.
