Shops & Council Offices, Manor Place
Description
This site was previously occupied by a vacant three-storey victorian terrace building formerly in use as shops with residential accommodation above and a modern single storey building to the rear known as 6 Stopford Road (which is now vacant), having previously been in use as a council office.
This scheme will provide 60 residential units in a single converted and extended block rising to six-storeys. The development also includes flexible ground floor use that could be used as either a new doctor’s Surgery (D1 Class) or offices (B1 Class). They could also be used as a pharmacy (85 sqm of A1 Class) or a café (285 sqm of A3 Class).
