Aylesbury First Development Site A

Description

Under a  partnership arrangement with Notting Hill Genesis, Southwark Council is funding the delivery of packages A and B on the First Development Site on Aylesbury Estate in return for the 581 homes on these sites becoming council housing. The new homes are a range of different sizes and types comprising flats, maisonettes and townhouses arranged around a street grid of high quality public realm including on-street parking and street trees. The development is made up of distinctive building designs, typically brick facades with clear front doors and generous entrance lobbies.

Alongside the new homes, there is a new public square, a new pocket park, a new 250sqm community facility and specialist accommodation including a 54 unit Extra Care Facility and seven homes for people with learning difficulties.
