Extend your lease
Who qualifies
To extend your lease, you must have a long lease which includes any of the following:
- for a term of more than twenty one years
- granted under the Social Homebuy scheme with 100% ownership
- granted under Right to Buy
- Right to Acquire under rent to mortgage terms
You must also meet both criteria below:
- you must have owned the lease of your flat for more than two years
- you must not be a commercial or business tenant
- you must be a residential leaseholder
