How the Southwark’s Stop Smoking Service works
The Southwark Stop Smoking Service provides free, confidential one-to-one stop-smoking support which is available in-person or via the telephone service.
You need to be 18-years-old or older and:
- live in Southwark
- work in Southwark
- or be registered with a Southwark GP
With this support, you are three times more likely to quit for good than if you try it alone.
If you smoke 10 cigarettes a day, at £12 per pack of 20 you could save £180 per month by quitting.
You’ll get:
- 12 weeks of support to quit
- free nicotine replacement therapies and a vape starter kit to give you the best chance of quitting
- support to recognise and manage your cravings
Appointments can be made for a time that suits you, including evenings and weekends.
You can also get specialist support to quit smoking if you’re pregnant, or if you have a mental health condition.
