Blue Elephant Theatre 

Blue Elephant Theatre has been based in Camberwell since 1999 and produces an eclectic programme of new work across the performing arts from physical and dance theatre to new writing and revamped classics.

Bridge Theatre

This 900-seat auditorium opened in 2017 and can be adapted to suit shows in a range of formats. The Bridge Theatre focuses on the commissioning and production of new shows, as well as staging the occasional classic.

Bunker Theatre

The Bunker opened in October 2016 with the aim of giving ambitious artists a home in which to share their work with adventurous audiences.

Canada Water Theatre

Canada Water Theatre is a 150 seat performance space within Canada Water Library. Managed by the Albany, there is a regular programme of theatre, dance and music performances throughout the year.

Cervantes Theatre

Cervantes Theatre is the proud creation of the Spanish Theatre Company (STC), a charity that brings the best Spanish and Latin American theatre to London and to British audiences, thereby promoting Spanish language dramatic arts

Greenwood Theatre

Built and owned by the Charitable Foundation of Guy's Hospital following donations from Sir James Mantle Greenwood, the Greenwood Theatre is leased by King's College London for lectures, student productions and external client bookings.

London Bubble Theatre

With its innovative and versatile playlist, the London Bubble Theatre aims to include among its audiences and participants those who have never experienced theatre. 

Menier Chocolate Factory 

Housed in a former chocolate factory in Southwark Street since 2004, the Menier Chocolate Factory hosts a mixture of musical and play revivals, new writing and comedy.   

Mountview

Based in Peckham since 2018, Mountview is one of the UK's leading drama schools, with its own theatre spaces for public shows.

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre

Shakespeare’s Globe is a world-renowned performing arts venue, cultural attraction and education centre located on Bankside. The venue includes both the Globe Theatre and the Sam Wannamaker Playhouse.

Southwark Playhouse

Southwark Playhouse aims to facilitate and showcase the work of some of the UK’s best up and coming talent. By working with schools the theatre introduces local people at a young age to the possibilities of great drama and the benefits of using theatre skills to facilitate learning. 

Theatre Peckham

Theatre Peckham is a theatre company and arts education project that started in 1985 as a development programme. The theatre runs a variety of shows for young audiences, as well as dance and performance classes.

The Old Vic 

The Old Vic sits just over the border in the neighbouring borough of Lambeth and first opened its doors in 1818. It is an independent not-for-profit theatre, a world leader in creativity and entertainment.

The Rose Playhouse

The Rose Playhouse, Bankside's first Tudor theatre, has Saturday open days where visitors can learn about its archaeology, costumes, and performances that took place there in the late 16th century. It also has a year-round programme of productions, lectures and other events. The theatre is fundraising to finish the archaeological work, better preserve the remains, and build a modern visitor centre.

The Unicorn Theatre

The Unicorn Theatre is the UK’s leading theatre for young audiences, producing an eclectic and surprising programme of work year-round for children aged 6 months to 18 years.

Union Theatre

The Union Theatre predominantly showcases fringe theatre pieces and new writing but also helps children and young adults produce their own work.

Theatre Deli

Supporting emerging companies whose work sits outside the traditional theatre, Theatre Deli is based in the Old Library, Wells Way in the centre of Burgess Park.

Young Vic

The Young Vic Company was formed in 1946 as an offshoot of the Old Vic Theatre School for the purpose of performing classic plays for younger audiences. Today the Young Vic boasts some of the most diverse and engaged audiences in London, enjoying work of the highest quality at low prices.
