Report a tree issue
We look after trees growing on public highways, parks and open spaces, housing estates and schools in Southwark. We aim to ensure that Southwark trees are kept safe and healthy. Read our Tree Management Policy to find out more.
How we use your data
Southwark Council uses your personal data when trying to process your enquiry about a council owned tree. The Localism Act 2011 requires us to do this. We do not need your permission to use your data and failure to provide it may mean we cannot respond to your request.
Your data will only be used by our trees team and may be shared with our third party contractors currently CSG Ushers and Street Tree Care so they can contact you to gain access to your property to carry out the works if required. Your personal information will be destroyed after 2 years.
If you're concerned how the council is using your data, contact our Data Protection officer via dpo@southwark.gov.uk or on 020 7525 5000.
More information about your rights is available on our website or via the Information Commissioner.
Report an issue with a tree
Let us know online about an issue affecting a tree managed by Southwark Council.
Contact the tree owner if you notice an issue with a tree located on private property or in a council tenant’s garden.
