Your Citizens' Jury
The recommendations
After meeting for three months, the jury has now given its recommendations for changes to help Southwark meet its climate ambitions. The council will take the recommendations to a meeting of the Cabinet and provide a response to the points raised by the Citizens’ Jury.
Some of the key requests were:
- make walking great again!
- affordable, accessible and appealing public transport
- improvements in energy efficiency of housing
- transparency, accountability and progress monitoring
