Southwark Community Energy Fund
Who can apply
The application window closed on 22 January 2024. Our ambition is to announce successful applicants in May 2024.
The community energy fund is available for not-for-profit community groups, organisations and institutions. This includes:
- existing community and voluntary groups who wish to do energy projects
- new and existing Community Energy Groups (CEGs)
- Community Interest Companies (CICs), Community Benefit Societies (CBSs), cooperatives or similar
- registered tenants’ and residents’ associations, or tenant management organisation charities
- schools
- faith groups
- a group of residents, or neighbours who wish to form a community energy group or cooperative
Applicants must be based or work in Southwark. Individuals are not eligible to apply to the fund.
