Southwark Insights and Intelligence Programme (SIIP)
Community research and co-production
We aim to gather local evidence to help us take action on health and other inequalities in Southwark, together with our local communities.
We will do this by:
- training residents, and people working and volunteering for our voluntary and community groups, to become Community Researchers
- upskilling our communities and ensuring their voices inform service and policy development
We want to carry out research projects on complex problems that impact on health and other inequalities. We want this work to be led by Community Researchers affected by these problems, collaborating with service providers and other partners.
By working together, we want to co-produce solutions that work for local people and meet local needs.
