Learning and development
The learning and development workstream aims to support council staff and partners to become more confident in using data and evidence in their work.
We will do this by supporting them to get better at:
- understanding and working with different kinds of data
- using evidence to develop services and policies
- doing research, evaluating our work, and sharing what we have learned
Together with our partners (including universities, voluntary and community organisations, and the NHS), we will deliver the workstream through:
- a mixture of formal training and hands-on, practical learning
- secondments with our university partners, and exchanges between different council teams
- structures and processes that support learning and development (web-based and in-person)
