Support for High Streets

Southwark boasts some of London’s most diverse and exciting town centres, and we’re committed to keeping it that way. Our vision is for Southwark’s high streets to be dynamic, diverse centres that are great places to visit, spend time at and enjoy.

Over the last few years, we’ve been running various initiatives to support our high streets, such as our High Streets Challenge grant.

Thriving Town Centres and High Streets is one of the key pillars of Southwark Economic Wellbeing Strategy 2023-30 and is a key priority for the council.
