There are a range of organisations in Southwark that can help you if you need employment information or legal advice about work-related issues, including:
- contractual rights, statutory rights and responsibilities
- data protection and employee confidentiality

- recovery of wages/unlawful deductions from wages
- self-employment
- training schemes
- unfair dismissal
Local advice centres
- Southwark Advice
- Southwark Law Centre
- Cambridge House Law Centre for employment law, debt work, volunteering and welfare rights
- Southwark Citizens Advice offer advice on benefits and housing, employment rights and discrimination, as well as debt and tax issues; the national Citizens Advice website is also a useful source of information
- Southwark Carers is an organisation that provides a wide range of advice and information to carers who live in Southwark; this includes support with employment, money, legal and benefits issues
- Blackfriars Settlement this service is provided by student volunteers from City Law School, on Wednesday evenings by appointment only
- London South Bank University's legal advice clinic is staffed by law students and only available during term times so check the dates
