About me and my connection to Southwark
I have a studio and live in Southwark. My work is predominantly sculpture and drawing, as well as audio archive recordings of conversation and interviews. I am interested in autobiographical and collective memory, and how this can be expressed through tactile and material form. I particularly enjoy working with communities of people and museum collections. “In this time of human conflict and widespread environmental destruction, there is a glimmer of hope in the work of Helen Barff.
