Schools investment

Southwark’s school investment programme

To help address this, Southwark Council has invested £200m into schools across the borough to provide 4,000 additional school places and create modern and exciting learning environments for local children.

In addition the council continues to invest more than £3m per annum in repairs to all its schools to ensure that the buildings are properly maintained with to support teaching and learning.
