Southwark hosts jobs fair at London College of Communication

Southwark Council invites anyone looking to progress their career to an afternoon of learning about what local jobs and apprenticeships are on offer.

What: Southwark Jobs Fair

Where: London College of Communication, London, SE1 6SB

When: Thursday 29 June, 1pm–3.30pm

There will be a wide range of career opportunities from employers across Southwark. Come to the jobs fair to meet representatives from London South Bank University, Southwark Works, University of Arts London, and Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust to learn more.

Cllr Martin Seaton, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Skills & Business, said: “As part of our Council Delivery Plan and wider longer-term borough ambition for a fairer, inclusive and greener economy, we are doing everything we can to link residents with opportunities and support to flourish in today’s competitive jobs market.

“We know our residents are ambitious and driven to succeed. I’d urge anyone thinking about their next steps to come meet some of the borough’s biggest employers and learn about how you could develop your career with them, amongst others.”
