Exempt Disposal

Some property sales or disposals within the first 10 years of a Right to Buy or Social Homebuy sale are not required to follow the Right of First Refusal or Discount Repayment process - these are called exempt disposals.

You should contact your solicitor as soon as possible to find out if your proposed sale/transfer is exempt under the Housing Act 1985.

To apply for an Exempt Disposal, contact us.
