Surface Water Management Plan
Our Surface Water Management Plan (SWMP) presents the predicted surface water flood risk in the London Borough of Southwark and how it can be managed.
The SWMP is a collaborative document. Risk management authorities (RMAs) and partner organisations have worked together to identify the causes and effects of surface water flooding in this area.
Other sources of flooding are also considered because they interact with surface water flooding. This is typical in urban areas like Southwark.

Mapping is produced to present visual representations of the level of risk across the borough. You can download them here. Email floodriskmanagement@southwark.gov.uk to request high resolution versions.
