Parking spaces
As of November 2022, Southwark Council had approximately 28,717 on-street parking spaces and 16,045 off-street parking spaces.
On-street parking
The table below lists the type of on-street parking space and the approximate number of each type of on-street parking space. An on-street parking space is a controlled parking area on the public highway.

Off-street parking

Unrestricted parking
The council has approximately 50 kilometres of potential on-street parking, which is unrestricted, in the borough.
Cycle parking
The council provides free on-street cycle parking throughout the borough. We also provide 56 cycle hire stations which are maintained by Transport for London and their agents, and over 500 cycle hangars which are provided by Cyclehoop or Falco.
