Community Safety Partnership
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 introduced a statutory framework for community safety partnerships (CSPs).
Through the framework of the CSP, our community safety & enforcement team, the fire brigade, the probation service and the police have worked together with other agencies to tackle crime and disorder issues across the borough.
Since 2016, the function of the CSP in Southwark (known as the Safer Southwark Partnership) has been subsumed into the remit of the Children & Adults Safeguarding Boards.
Find out more about the Southwark Safeguarding Boards and their continuing work to keep Southwark a safe place to live, work on the Southwark Safeguarding website.
