Child sexual exploitation

Free training for everyone: child sexual exploitation

Since the coronavirus emergency started in March 2020, many people have continued their learning online. When possible, we'd like to start running in person training as some people prefer this way of learning.

We want all community groups, faith groups and local organisations to be able to spot the signs of children being sexually exploited. We also want them to have the confidence to report such concerns, as well as knowing where to report and where to get advice.

We've set up a way for local groups and organisations to access our free training about keeping children safe, including staying safe from sexual exploitation.

Register your organisation and book your preferred free training days on My learning source

You can go on a day’s course about child sexual exploitation called Night watch, which is run by Barnardo's. This course offers a good general introduction and background, will help you communicate better with young people about this issue and you'll learn who to tell. If you don't have time to take a full day's course, you can also do a 1 hour long e-learning course on child sexual exploitation.
