Alcohol licensed premises gaming machine permit notification
If you sell alcohol and hold a licence under the Licensing Act 2003 and wish to operate category C and/or D gaming machines, you must apply for a permit or submit a notification.

Eligibility criteria
If you operate three or more machines, you must apply for a permit.
If you have one or two machines, you should submit a notification form.
If you currently hold a premises licence, you can apply for the following services online.
Once your application has been submitted and paid for online, it's automatically sent to the responsible authorities, so there is no need for applicants to send in paper hard copies.

Licence length
The notification is valid if the licensee remains the same.
It will only lapse if the alcohol licence is transferred to another person, or if the alcohol licence itself lapses. There is no annual fee payable.

Licence length
Permits are valid for an unlimited duration. However, they will lapse if the holder ceases to hold the alcohol licence, or if the alcohol licence itself lapses.
Annual fee
The first fee becomes due 30 days after the permit was granted, and then on the anniversary of the grant. We may revoke a permit if the annual fee is not paid.
