Get advice on what benefits you are entitled to

Our Local Support team helps disabled, vulnerable or older residents who are facing severe financial hardship. We can check that you and your household are getting all the welfare benefits you're entitled to and help you make a claim.

Get advice and support if you are worried about money

You can check the Help for Households website to find advice on managing money, including help finding work and help with living costs. The Money Helper website offers help with a range of topics including how to budget, how to manage debt, and what benefits you're entitled to.

Local and national advice organisations including Citizen’s Advice Southwark have developed a Worrying about money guide to support you with your money or debt worries.

Get advice on reducing energy costs

You can contact the Southwark Energy Savers service for advice on how to save money and reduce your energy costs. Available to anyone who lives or works in Southwark, including private landlords who rent out property in the borough.
